when she was in her teens and where she attended and graduated from
Blackford High School in 1969. She married at age eighteen and went to
live with her Air Force husband in Okinawa for over two years where
they lived an interesting life off-base within the midst of the local
people.
On her return to California she worked in the accounting
department of Sears in Cupertino for several years while attending San
Jose City College. She then went to work as the Accounting Manager over
a large accounting staff at The Bedroom, a retail waterbed company. She
was soon promoted to Controller where she helped grow the business from
two stores to eventually twelve retail stores over her eight year
employment.
In 1986, Pamela started her own stunt kite manufacturing
business, Renegade Kites, where she was one of the forerunners of the
stunt kite craze. She designed, produced, and shipped her unique stunt
kites around the world. At the same time she started her own retail and
distribution kite business in Fremont. She received from her peers the
honor of being one of the Best Kite Companies in the industry. She also
was honored as one of the top Woman Kite Business Owners She was able
to travel to many interesting places to attend kite festivals,
contests, kite exhibitions, and trade shows for those years as she
promoted her kites. During this time she met her current husband, True,
and they were married in 1993.
In 1995, she went to work for a large electronics distribution
firm in Pleasanton, CA. She held the position of Controller and helped
lead the company in its rapid growth over the next 12 years. She also
earned her ISO 9001 Auditor Certification and headed the corporate ISO
auditing team.

of our accounting department.
She and her husband have enjoyed living in Tracy for 10 years.
They enjoy sharing a multitude of interests: motorcycle touring,
photography, antiquing, traveling, and music. They both volunteer
weekly at the Tracy Senior Center.
